Types of Furnaces We Install

At Total Air Masters, we offer a wide range of furnace models to fit different home heating requirements:

Gas Furnaces

Gas furnaces are one of the most popular heating options due to their efficiency and cost-effectiveness. These systems use natural gas or propane to produce heat, making them an ideal choice for homes with access to gas lines. They heat your home quickly and efficiently, making them a great choice for colder climates.

Electric Furnaces

For homes without access to natural gas, electric furnaces are a practical alternative. They use electricity to heat coils, which then distribute warm air through your ductwork. Electric furnaces are generally quieter and more compact than gas furnaces, and they are ideal for homes in milder climates or for those who prioritize clean energy.

Oil Furnaces

While less common, oil furnaces are still a reliable option for homes that are not connected to a gas line. These systems use heating oil to generate warmth and are known for their powerful heat output. If you live in a rural area or prefer oil heating, our team can help with installation and recommend the best oil furnace for your home.

Dual Fuel Furnaces

For homeowners looking for a flexible solution, dual fuel systems combine the efficiency of a heat pump with the power of a gas furnace. This hybrid system switches between the two heat sources depending on outdoor temperatures, providing both energy savings and consistent comfort.

Signs It’s Time for a New Furnace

If you’re unsure whether you need a new furnace, watch for these common signs:

  • Frequent Repairs: If your furnace requires constant repairs, it may be more cost-effective to replace it.
  • Increased Energy Bills: A spike in your energy costs can be a sign that your furnace is no longer running efficiently.
  • Uneven Heating: If certain rooms in your home are colder than others, it could indicate that your furnace isn’t distributing heat properly.
  • Old Age: Most furnaces last about 15-20 years. If yours is approaching this age, it’s worth considering a new, more energy-efficient model.
  • Strange Noises: Unusual sounds like banging, rattling, or humming can indicate mechanical issues that may warrant a replacement.

Our Furnace Installation Process

At Total Air Masters, we follow a comprehensive furnace installation process to ensure everything is done correctly from start to finish.

Consultation & Inspection

We begin with a thorough consultation to understand your heating needs. Our team assesses your home's size, insulation, and current HVAC system to recommend the ideal furnace type and model for your home.

Removal of Old System

If you’re replacing an existing furnace, we safely and efficiently remove the old system, disposing of it according to local regulations.

New Furnace Installation

Our certified technicians install your new furnace, ensuring it’s properly connected to your home’s ductwork, gas lines, or electrical system. We also follow all safety protocols and industry standards for a flawless installation.

Testing & Calibration

Once your new furnace is installed, we perform a series of tests to make sure it’s running efficiently and safely. We’ll check the airflow, thermostat controls, and safety features, adjusting the system as needed.

Post Installation Support

After installation, we walk you through how your new furnace works and provide tips for optimal operation and maintenance. We’re also available for any follow-up questions or concerns.

Benefits of a New Furnace Installation

Upgrading to a new furnace can have several advantages, including:

  • Improved Energy Efficiency: Modern furnaces are designed to use less energy, which can result in lower utility bills and reduced carbon footprint.
  • Enhanced Comfort: New furnaces provide more consistent heating, eliminating hot and cold spots in your home.
  • Quieter Operation: Many new models run more quietly than older units, allowing for a more peaceful living environment.
  • Better Air Quality: New furnaces often come with advanced filtration options, helping to improve the air quality in your home by removing dust, allergens, and other pollutants.
  • Increased Home Value: A new, efficient furnace can increase your home’s value, making it more attractive to potential buyers if you ever decide to sell.

I highly highly recommend TAM AC for your air conditioning and heating services. Oscar and his team of technicians are very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I have used TAM for several years. And every time I am so pleased by their services. When I started having trouble with the AC unit this past time, Oscar and his team quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved the issues promptly. They even went above and beyond my expectations to bring over a temporary unit while we waited for the parts to arrive. They even worked late to finish the job. I can’t be any more pleased by their services. I will definitely work through them for any future ac and heating needs.

Tim from TAM stopped by on time and quickly diagnosed my issue. I scheduled appointment with TAM as I knew they are a certified Amana/Goodman warranty repair outfit and was hopeful that what needed repair was in fact under warranty. Thank goodness for Amana's best in class warranty for HVAC, it was. TAM acquired part at massive Goodman plant on US290 the next morning, and installed that afternoon. Very happy with Tim/TAM and Amana/Goodman!
