Comprehensive Inspection and Cleaning

Total Air Masters’ AC tune-up service begins with a thorough inspection of your entire air conditioning system. Their certified technicians meticulously examine every component of your unit, including the condenser coils, evaporator coils, blower motor, and more. This inspection is crucial as it helps identify any potential issues that could lead to system failure or reduced efficiency.

Once the inspection is complete, the technicians proceed with a detailed cleaning process. Dust and debris accumulation can significantly impact the performance of your AC unit. By cleaning the coils, filters, and other parts of the system, Total Air Masters ensures optimal airflow and heat exchange, which are vital for efficient cooling and energy savings.

Refrigerant Level Check and Adjustment

The refrigerant in your AC unit is essential for the cooling process. Low refrigerant levels can lead to reduced cooling efficiency and increased energy consumption. During the tune-up, Total Air Masters’ technicians check the refrigerant levels and adjust them if necessary. This step is critical in preventing issues such as refrigerant leaks, which can be costly to repair and harmful to the environment.

Thermostat Calibration

A properly calibrated thermostat ensures that your home maintains the desired temperature without overworking the AC unit. Total Air Masters includes thermostat calibration as part of their tune-up service. This involves checking the accuracy of the thermostat settings and making any necessary adjustments to ensure it operates correctly. A well-calibrated thermostat can lead to more consistent temperatures and improved comfort in your home.

Electrical Component Examination

The electrical components of your AC unit, such as wiring, capacitors, and contactors, play a crucial role in its operation. Faulty electrical parts can cause system malfunctions or even pose a safety hazard. Total Air Masters’ technicians thoroughly inspect these components to ensure they are in good working condition. If any issues are found, they provide recommendations for repairs or replacements to prevent future problems.

Lubrication of Moving Parts

Proper lubrication of the moving parts in your AC unit, such as the fan and motor, is essential for reducing friction and preventing wear and tear. Total Air Masters includes lubrication in their tune-up service to enhance the longevity and efficiency of your system. This step helps in maintaining smooth operation and reducing the risk of mechanical failures.

Air Filter Replacement

Air filters are vital for maintaining indoor air quality and ensuring the efficient operation of your AC unit. Clogged or dirty filters can restrict airflow, making your system work harder and consume more energy. As part of the tune-up service, Total Air Masters replaces or cleans the air filters, ensuring that your home remains cool and your air remains clean.
